16 Feb 2007

Foreign & Commonwealth Office sign £1.47m Deal for Mediasurface's Morello

Mediasurface, the fastest growing content management solution provider, today announces that the Foreign & Commonwealth Office has purchased Morello in a deal worth £1.47m. The 5-year agreement includes a Mediasurface Morello licence, ongoing support, training and consultancy services. Approximately £1.0m will be recognised in this financial year.

The project aims to make significant efficiency savings for the FCO by delivering its entire web presence from a single Morello content management platform.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office works for UK interests throughout the world and employs 16,000 staff based both in the UK and in an overseas network of diplomatic offices. The website project will join up all FCO's websites to create efficiencies by sharing content, collaboration of online services and the day to day management of sites which publish content in 44 different languages.

The contract builds on a considerable foundation of success for Mediasurface in UK Central Government, adding to a list of clients including Home Office, Office of Fair Trading, Department for Transport, DCLG and many others.
