Mediasurface Wins KMWorld Award
Mediasurface named one of "100 Companies that Matter" for 2008
Mediasurface, Europe's leading content management software provider, today announced that it has been selected as one of KMWorld's "100 Companies that Matter" in knowledge management for 2008. Mediasurface develops markets and implements Web Content Management Solutions (CMS) that helps business users regain ownership of their websites, while enabling busy IT departments to concentrate on their core responsibilities.
The selections were made over the past 12 months and recognize vendors who have distinguished themselves because of their role in creating, enhancing or defining a market. The List, now in its eighth year, is compiled by KM practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers and colleagues. Equally important in the selection, was the ability to demonstrate the ability of straightforward, agile business planning and execution.
Said Andy Peart, Chief Marketing Officer at Mediasurface,
"Knowledge management comprises a range of practices used by organizations to identify, create, represent, and distribute knowledge-in our case via corporate intranets, internets, extranets and other digital channels. The primary technologies that support these channels are well understood and widely used, but have been limited in the past by lack of flexibility. Across the Mediasurface group, we're constantly striving to bring our customers powerful and innovative ways to edit, publish and manage the content on their websites and enhance the solutions that add greater interactivity into their KM environments. We're truly pleased to be named to KMWorld's List."
Hugh McKellar, Editor in Chief, KMWorld magazine and List evaluation team member, added:
"This is the year that content and knowledge management
professionals must find new and innovative techniques to stay ahead of the
curve. Mediasurface has been delivering that innovation for over 10
years and will continue to meet the demand through their centric approach
to solving web content and knowledge management problems." He
continues, "If there is a single trait shared by the companies
named to this year's list, it's their determination to provide the right
solution to the right people. Clearly, attitude alone doesn't warrant
inclusion on the list; attitude must be accompanied by elegance in the
design and implementation of their software. Mediasurface has clearly
achieved this in their product and their
vision."
Empowering creativity and proactivity at all levels, Mediasurface has three main product suites in its portfolio - Morello, Immediacy and Pepperio. Each embodies the company's vision of business critical technology that engages the business user and frees IT from the burden of day to day website management.
